Princeton Baseball/ Softball Association Agenda
February 15, 2007 We are currently working towards the 2007 baseball and softball season. We are fortunate to have a fusion of new blood into the organization this year. They are bringing new ideas and excitement to our organization. We are looking forward to continuing the upgrades to our fields. New fencing went in last year to finish the softball field. We will finish the fence guards to Hero's Field and the softball field. Princeton Baseball/Softball Assoc. will aggressively pursue fund raising to replace all four dugouts this year. With your help we hope to reach our goal of $8000. We are also trying to host our first All Star game. Hero's Field is one of the nicest fields in District 4; this is due to your continued support with our fund raising ideas. Fund raising enables us to keep upgrading our fields for the children of Princeton. I would like to thank all of the people who stepped forward this year and those who have been helping for the past four years with me. I am going on my 4th year as President of the PBSA. There have been trying times but for the majority of my presidency it has been tremendously gratifying. There is great satisfaction when you're working diligently for months to prepare for Opening Day and you see all the great results on that great Sunday afternoon. The beaming faces of the T-ball players, families enjoying the day with their children or hearing the excitement of a close game being played by the older kids makes it all worth while. This will be my last year as President. It is time for me to step aside and let someone else take the reigns. I will continue to help out however I can. I know that there is someone out there to step up to help continues to move Princeton forward. We are waiting for you! The season will soon be here and I will see you all on the field at opening Day. Thank you for a great 4 years. Respectfully, Chris Alsdorf |
