and ensures that all members of the board are able to complete their responsibilities
- Represents
Princeton Little League at District League Meetings.
- Represents
Princeton at Sterling Little League Board Meetings
- Speaks
to the town at Opening Day
- Directly
involved in resolving conflicts that take place with the league.
Vice-president:
- Available
for consulting to the President as needed
- Fills
in responsibilities of the President when needed
- Available
to help any Board member in their responsibilities
Softball
Coordinator - Represents
Softball on the Little League Board
- Overseas
the Softball Teams
- Coordinates
Softball schedules
Treasurer
- Has the League
bank account in their name
- Manages
the paying of fees for umpires (at beginning of season), uniforms
- Deposits
funds (registration, fundraising) into the League bank account
- Balances
the League checking account
Secretary
- Contacts the Landmark
and/or TPS for League for posting of league announcements
- Helps
coordinate league activities where possible
Player
Agent - In
charge of all activities related to registration.
- Makes
sure that the registration form is accurate and useful
- Coordinates
registration dates, is available to collect forms from parents during pre-season
- Collects
registration fees and delivers fees to Treasurer
Umpire
Coordinator - Coordinates
the hiring and/or training of umpires for the season
- Maintains
the schedule of umpires for all Minor League & Major League games played in
Princeton.
- Addresses
all umpire-related issues that arise during the season
Fundraiser
Coordinator - Manages
and is directly involved in all fundraiser activities
- Leads
in the determination of fundraisers
- Pays
Treasurer the Fundraiser revenues
Picture
Day Coordinator - Communicates
Picture Day to all teams
- Liaison
between Photography company and League
- Schedules
pictures for all teams in league
- Oversees
Picture Day activities
Uniform
Coordinator - Manages
the handing out of uniforms to all teams
- Determines
uniform needs and orders uniforms as required
- Ensures
that uniforms are returned to the league by all coaches
Information
Officer - Maintains
the league website
- Interacts
with other board members to keep website information up-to-date
- Takes
suggestions on website into account
Snack
Shack Coordinator - Keeps
Snack Shack stocked with food/drink to sell
- Ensures
that the Snack Shack is kept in good order
- Manages
funds and regularly delivers funds to Treasurer
- Keeps
a balance of Snack Shack finances
Sponsor
Coordinator - Contacts
new sponsors and maintains existing sponsors
- Collects
funds from sponsors and delivers funds to Treasurer
- Responsible
for delivering gifts (pictures, plaques) to sponsors
